BRAT RAVE

as the summer winds down, brat nation lives on!

as summer comes to a close, brat culture lives on. on august 2nd, hundreds gathered at the brooklyn monarch for the chlomosexual presents brat rave. from lime green baby tees and wigs to sparkly mesh and fishnet ensembles, our flamers came to play. in the backyard of the party we had a booth in collaboration with dazed. our FLAMER team passed out red jays to the party go-ers—making sure everyone was not only brat, but silly goofy.

inside the party raged on with a boiler room feel. so for those who missed charli’s iconic PARTYGIRL boiler room set, this was a special occasion. there was music by VON, P_A_T, and knostalgia b2b jason musgrow. and of course the tracklist was stacked with songs from the deluxe album and her iconic remixes like “girl, so confusing featuring Lorde” and “Guess featuring Billie Eilish.” 

our brit icon released the remix of her song “Guess” just the night before the party. charli and billie fans alike were so excited to witness this collab—especially with this lesbian renaissance happening in pop culture. this song kept up the momentum of BRAT and also added a new flare to the rave’s lineup of songs. there’s no feeling like dancing to a party song at the club right after it’s release. and the feeling is even better when it’s shared with our community. 

this evening went down in brat summer history in all its green gay glory. and there’s only more to come.
